Plasmolifting of gums after tooth extraction

Plasmolifting (PRP therapy or platelet-rich plasma therapy) is a medical technique which helps to relieve inflammation, heal, restore, grow and rejuvenate tissues, improve blood circulation.

Special preparation of the patient is not required. Plasmolifting is a very simple procedure. However, the following recommendations can be specified:

• - It is advisable to preliminary remove supragingival and subgingival dental plaque.
• - A few days before the procedure, do not drink alcohol and do not smoke, exclude spicy and fatty foods, tea, coffee, increase water intake up to 2 litres per day.
• - Do not take blood thinners before manipulation.
• - Do not eat a few hours before the procedure.
